Australian Tourist Visa
Anyone who is travelling to Australia needs to hold a valid travel visa, unless they hold an Australian or New Zealand passport.
The ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) system issues travel visas electronically, making life much simpler in the airport at customs & border protection.
Holding an ETA visa permits you to stay in Australia for up to 90 days per trip, within the valid period of the visa. An ETA visa is valid for 12 months providing you have 12 months plus left on your passport, otherwise the visa will expire with your passport.
The cost of an Australian tourist visa is $24.00 USD.
Note: If you have a criminal record or health issues you may not be entitled to apply on the ETA system. Click here for more information.
We recommend that your passport is valid for at least six months before applying.
