Arranging a tax file number is one of the first things you will need to arrange before you start working in Australia.

Most employers will require you to provide them with an Australian tax file number before you start work.

If you work without a tax file number you could end up paying more tax than necessary. Once you have a tax file number, you will be taxed at the much lower rate (29%).

You can sort out your tax file number before you leave home, giving you one less thing to do once you reach Australia.

When applying for your tax file number online, the tax file registration system will then compare your details with those which are held on the DIMIA systems (from your working holiday visa application) - however your tax file number will not be issued until you enter Australian due to government policies.

Simply complete our online form and we will lodge your tax file number application the day you arrive in Australia. Once we receive it from the tax office we will E-Mail it to you wherever you are in Australia.

It is that simple! No waiting around, No need for a fixed Australian address and receive your number wherever you are on your travels.
